A South Korean unmanned helicopter that was developed using its own technology has successfully completed its maiden flight as stated by S.Korea’s sole aircraft maker. The aircraft is named NI-600VT and it completed its test flight at a space center in the southern coastal town of Goheung according to the Korea Aerospace Industries. It is said that it is able to automatically return to its base even in emergency situations. The unmanned model is based on a RotorWay A600 twin-seat helicopter.
