Recent reports stated that a North Korean uranium factory might have leaked waste into the West Sea. Satellite images have also contributed to the belief that the concentration plant in Pyongsan in North Korea could be leaking. These reports turned out to be accurate and the result of the tests will be out in about 2 weeks. A spokesman noted that Pyongsan has only uranium mines and a refining plant, citing experts say that those are unlikely to produce radioactive waste that could be harmful to humans.
