Missile strikes were exchanged between the Azerbaijani and Armenian forces over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh as shown by footage from both sides. The Armenian forces had carried out large-caliber artillery shelling on the town of Tartar as stated by the Azerbaijani defense ministry. During a drone strike an Armenian military base was attacked along with a civilian bus which led Armenia’s defense ministry to denounce Azerbaijan and promise a ‘harsh response.’. In recent days an array of heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and drones have been used by both sides against each other which has resulted in military and civilian casualties that have reached double figures.
