Russia completed the first launch of the P-800 Oniks missile

An anti-ship cruise missile named P-800 ‘Oniks’ was launched by the Russian mobile coastal defence system ‘Bastion’ in the Chukotka region for the very first time in footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry on Thursday. Reports stated that the P-800 Oniks missile managed to hit a target 200 km (124 miles) offshore, in the Chukchi Sea water zone.
