As both the title and the narrator make clear, Nuclear Detonations: The First Sixty Seconds, only focuses on the immediate energy released in a nuclear explosion. Created by the Office of Civil Defense in 1964, the film appears to be one of many focused instructional shorts likely used to segue into longer discussions
